Election Notice

It is with great pleasure that the Alumni Council Election Committee presents the following nominees for Executive Board positions for your approval.  This slate brings together a host of alumni with experience not only with the serving the council but also with school activities along with new additions to help nurture and preserve the special "ASIJ experience"” for future generations of Alumni/Alumnae.

In keeping with our constitutional requirements, we need your vote in approving this slate.  By not replying to the Bochi Bullet election ballot, we will regard your vote as being in the affirmative.  We request that all replies posted on Bochi Bullets be made by April 10 (Friday).

We would like to thank all of you who graciously submitted names of candidates for board positions.  We are very fortunate that there are so many ASIJ alumni who are eager to help in a variety of ways.

Sincerely,

Bill Shang
Election Committee Chairman

Akarui Kizashi (Sign of hope, brightness): It's another beautiful day as always, if you can see beyond the darkness that is only temporary. Looks like Ireland but this is Shibamata, Tokyo, the hometown of Tora-san.

Yasu Nakaoka graduated from ASIJ in 1975. Studied ecomomics at UCLA, and photography at Brooks Institute of Photography, where he went on to become a professional photographer with over 22 years of experience in the business.
